BIRDS! – Barry Rowe, Loi LeMix, Rex Soriano
BIRDS! is a tranquil, light game where you have influence over a gathering of birds. You can lightly disturb the birds, force them to move around, or if you’re not careful, scare them away entirely. The game starts in “Chill” mode, and is open-ended. You can switch on the power, and enter “Shock” mode where you must protect the birds from electrical surges before too many birds get fried.
Carillon – Kyle McCormick, Kurt Taylor, Daniel Waddell, Kendra Waddell
Carillon is a game where you have to record your version of a song on bells. The game will play two bars of a song and it is up to you to play the song back. If you think you have the stuff, try playing without the metronome.
Desserts Killed Your Daddy – Alex Bezuska, Eric Lathrop
Kill as many desserts as possible in the given time! Can you get to 50 points and defeat the GingerBoss?
Do you want to kill a snowman? – Collin Bishop, Jason Latta
In our game you must kill the oncoming snowmen waves using your choice of 3 weapons.
The Lonely Realm of Tom Thaum, the Space Wizard – Joey Andrews, Sarah
You are Tom. You are a wizard that lives alone on a planetoid deep in space. An unanticipated meteor storm has destroyed your tower, the focus of your power. It threatens to destroy your home world. Can you rebuild and save your tiny planet?
LudumNam – Caleb Byrd, Brandon Jones, Sheridan Rathburn
We wanted to make a bit of an RTS and a bit of a tower defense with the quick gameplay and crushing difficulty of a rogue-like. Control info is in the read-me, and the game is winnable, though punishing. This was the first jam for each member of our 3 man team, and we are pretty happy with the result. Snowman easter egg, for the theme none of us wanted to win.
Marelda – Ben James
A procedural RPG platformer, hack and slash, rogue-like adventure. The world is infinite and completely random, no play through will ever be the same, including randomized weapons and dungeons. See how far you can get! Inspired by Castlevania, Mario, and Zelda!
One Does Not Simply Walk Into More Doors – Lisa Brown, Joonas Turner, Adriel Wallick
Tiny ghost loves candy. Get the most candy. Arrow keys to move.
Pixie’s Minimap Adventure – Anthony Quisenberry
The Idea behind this game came from the thought that you can play most games that have a mini-map simply by looking at said mini-map the entire time. There was a logic puzzle that was intended to be implemented but I ran out of time. Additionally, I want to tweak the physics so that the movement flows a bit better and make the character actually jump rather than fly. At this time, you can fly over the triggers( the sprites that look like cross-hairs) and cause them to become active or inactive.
